1. Full members have access to all facilities and times of the club, including tennis, pickleball, and racquetball.
• They can schedule time for the tennis court or the racquetball court using the Court Reserve App.
• Family membership includes member, spouse/partner and children under 25 living in the same residence.
2. Pickleball only members have access to the pickleball courts during designated open pickleball times.
3. Seasonal members are summer residents who join the club during the "low season" of court usage. This membership extends from June 1 to September 30 (four months).
4. Charter members are founding members of the new club who contributed a minimum of $1000 to finance the construction of the current facility.
5. The cost of the above memberships for the 2024-25 year are as follows:

6. Guests: Member-sponsored guests who are prospective club members and wish to try the club facilities will not be charged a guest fee for their first visit, but are required to provide Covid vaccination documentation and sign the waiver. PYRC Guest Waiver documents are attached under DOWNLOADS in the Registration section.
7. Court Reservation Procedure:
• The Reservation sign-up for all racquet sports is done online using our Court Reserve App.
• Members are responsible for scheduling their time in advance as a courtesy to those who wish to check for available playing times.
• Members are responsible for canceling any scheduled court time that they cannot keep as soon as possible as a courtesy so that other members may use the time.
• Please be sure that you are scheduling court time for the correct court.
• Any further “guest visits” will require payment of the $10.00 fee per visit.
• This rule applies to all tennis, pickleball and racquetball guests.
• The maximum limit of 3 guest visits per Fiscal year applies.
8. Members are responsible for confirming any guests invited to play at the club meet the club's requirements.
• This can be done by filling out the guest participant Waiver/Agreement and forwarding it to the Court Reserve Administrator using the following Email address: pyrctreas@gmail.com.
• These rules apply to all tennis, pickleball, and racquetball guests.
• Ensure the guest signs the Court-Use book.
• Ensure the guest is aware of all the Penn Yan Racquet Club facility rules.
• Guests may only use the court with a Full member also using the court.
The Penn Yan Racquet Club fiscal/membership calendar year runs from October 1 through September 30. Dues must be paid in full by October 1.

Step 2.
Receive: A Court Reserve logon, password and door access PIN number
Court Use: Only members and properly registered guests may use the facility. Footwear: At every season of the year, members/guests must carry clean footwear into the lobby and change their footwear before entering the court.
• Tennis shoes must be worn for play in the facility.
• Any footwear that leaves marks or damages on a court is prohibited.
• During winter/muddy seasons, please change from street shoes into court shoes in the outer lobby.
Heating: The building is heated by radiant heat in the floor for playing tennis, racquetball, or pickleball.
• It is not heated to keep non-players warm.
• The temperature is set for playing and reducing the cost of dues.
• Dress appropriately for your comfort.
Court-Use Books: The court-use book is for recording members/guests who use the court.
• All members/guests must sign the court-use book before entering the court.
• There is one book for tennis, one for pickleball, and one for racquetball. Clean-Up: The trash policy is "Carry-in/Carry-out". Members are responsible for removing everything that they bring into the building.
Court Lights: Turn off the lights when you are leaving the court.
Under Age 18 Supervision: Family members under the age of 18 may not use the court without on-the-court adult supervision.
• Active adult supervision means that the adult is actively engaged and focused on the supervision task.
• The courts are not to be used as a "baby-sitting" service.
Tennis Court Equipment: The only items permitted to be stored along the tennis and pickleball court are the chairs and tennis court equipment.
• Personal items or equipment need to be hung on wall pegs or shelves.
• No items may be stored on the courts.
Racquetball Clean-Up After Use: Members are to sweep the racquetball court with the racquetball cleaning broom after every time they play. The racquetball cleaning broom is stored in the storage room.
Shower Clean Up: Members who use the shower will squeegee the shower stall after use.
Reporting Problems: Members will report building, equipment, and dispute problems to a Board member. The listing of and contact information for Board members is displayed in the Penn Yan Racquet Club lobby.
Respect for Volunteers and Contributions: This facility is maintained mainly by volunteers and was constructed mainly with donations. It is important that everyone uses the facility in a manner that respects the work and contributions of others.
Court Use: Please be mindful/respectful of being off the court prior to the next scheduled reserved time slot.
